⸻ I had an excellent experience with D. Dhalinwal. I went in for treatment of a torn hamstring and received a PRP injection. Dr. Dawliwal was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to clearly explain the procedure and what to expect. His calm and confident maner immediately put me at ease. The injection was done with great care, and I felt reassured throughout the process. Ii am now 10 weeks out and feel 100% better. I truly appreciated his attention to detail and his genuine concern for my recovery. I highly recommend Dr. Dawliwal to anyone seeking advanced, effective treatment for pain or injury.

They are awesome. I recently messaged Dr. Dhaliwal about needing to get in ASAP because of an urgent need and they went out of their way to get me in within a day, even calling me that day to see if I could get there for a last minute opening. In addition, they are really proactive with insurance and scheduling. Anytime there has ever been an insurance issue, they have called me 3-4 weeks prior to an appointment with what the issue was and what they need communicated to my PCM in order to get the situation right. I have also paid out of pocket willingly for a few things that weren't covered by insurance and it has been very reasonable. Dr. Dhaliwal and the whole staff are professional and on top of their game. I would give them more stars if I could!

I have been going to Spine & Pain Associates since 2020. Dr. Bhat is amazing, he has helped my chronic pain. I have an Spinal Cord Stimulator that is helping my nerve pain from my lower back, that goes down my legs. My nerve pain started around 2013 before my first lower back fusion 2014. I thank God for my Stimulator, I have so much relief from my nerve pain. Also, I am thankful for PA Rebecca, she is so patience, kind and very knowledgeable. I have been receiving trigger points, and hip injections that is helping my arthritis and fribromyagia. Jay and all the staff here is very kind, patience and respectful. Dr. Dhaliwal and his team are outstanding. From Jay at the front desk to the treatment area. What separates Dr Dhaliwal from other doctors is his skill and experience with compassion and “bedside maner”. In a time where practices have to rush, he takes time to give a personal interaction. Pain was relieved for my mother after his procedure giving her a better quality of life.

For almost a year, I had been experiencing lower back pain frequented by severe muscle spasms. I had not received the relief I had been seeking until I was able to get an appointment with Dr. Dhaliwal in Raleigh. I had my first consultation with Dr. Dhaliwal in early June. He had reviewed my case on information sent, as well, as my personal notes I had sent. I had been doing physical therapy at a fine facility- it was helping, but , I needed more medical attention I found Dr. Dhaliwal to be quite knowledgeable, concerned , and deeply empathetic. He told me that he felt that he could help me- I had hope! I had two more appointments for diagnostic tests. These tests pinpointed the nerves causing the lower back pain. On Monday, July 28, 2025, Dr.Dhaliwal did the procedure to ablation the nerves causing my pain. All went as planed. I have not had any soreness at the injection sites as of today, July29. I am not having to use my cane My pain level is no more than a 2, if that.As of this afternoon,the procedure appears to be working at 85- 90%, or more. I have nothing but complete praise for Dr. Dhaliwal and his staff- so professional, friendly, approachable, and deeply empathetic. I give the Spine and Pain Associates 5 stars- more if available. This is indeed the place to go for pain relief for one's back and other pain causing spinal issues. Thank you so much.

I fell on ice in January and had two severe tendon tears on MRI. Of course, ortho surgery was recommended. I found out about Dr Bhat from a family member and went for evaluation. I am a medical professional and was super impressed with the amount of time he spent with me and my wife examining me and showing me on ultrasound where my injuries were and explaining his proposed treatment. My PRP injection experience was a good as it can be when needles are getting stuck in your shoulder. The first night was extremely painful, as I was told to expect, and then my pain steadily decreased. Three months after my injection I am much stronger and essentially pain-free. My mobility and strength is much, much better and continues improving. I am very satisfied and avoided the expense and long recovery from surgery.

Dhaliwal and his team at Spine and Pain Associates provided exceptional care and attention to detail during my visits . I am an avid gym enthusiast and workouts became limited due to shoulder/ rotator cuff issue.i was interested in the plasma rich blood injections and he explained thoroughly pros/ cons about the procedure . After the second visit of injections , I have had about 90% decrease in pain in my shoulder. My sleep , way of life , and gym workouts are resuming back to normal and I am very grateful and glad I did it . Yes I highly recommend this office !

I would highly recommend Dr. Bhat & his staff. I had Regenexx stem cell therapy in my right knee a little over 6 weeks ago. I started to notice improvement in my knee at night when trying to sleep about 3 days after treatment. Before treatment sleeping had been so uncomfortable, but now I am sleeping through the night painfree. My level of knee discomfort during the day has also improved dramatically. The front staff is wonderful and knowledgeable, and appointments are always on time and conducted professionally. There are two locations: one in Raleigh and one in Sanford. I use both locations depending on my work schedule and availability. I highly recommend this practice.

I wanted to take a moment to recognize Dr. Dhaliwal and ALL his staff! I had my first appointment in Raleigh to assess my hip pain on Wednesday, and then had my 1st steroid shot the next day in Sanford so I was able to experience both locations and nowadays, it's not often I was treated so well from the first greeting to walking out the door at both locations. They always say it starts at the top and I see how this practice truly puts the patient first. I was first appointment Thursday and they were already lined up and I saw how well everyone was treated. Dr Dhaliwal is as good as they get! I could not recommend any higher. He explained in detail everything he was going to do and executed quickly flawlessly. He is always on time and answers every question in detail. I was a sceptic of pain management Drs after 9 sports related ortho surgeries but Dr D changed everything for me! Go see him!

I was referred to this place for pain in my tailbone due to possible fracture. They were extremely proactive on making sure I was scheduled, knew where to go and what to expect. They were understanding, the PA was very validating of my pain experience. When getting seen for pain, there is a lot of fear that it’s not as bad as it feels. They made sure I felt heard and immediately helped me with injections. They were understanding and encouraging through my fear. I really appreciated the explanations Dr Bhat gave. I felt taken care of and have a solution to a 10 year old pain that I’ve never gotten relief from before now. I am so grateful for this place and am happy I took the dive to get the help I needed!

I had an excellent experience with Spine & Pain Associates, particularly under the care of Dr. Bhat for my Regenex treatment. Dr. Bhat was personable, highly knowledgeable, and took a logical, science-based approach to addressing my chronic lower back pain caused by facet joint arthritis and disc degeneration. Before suggesting Regenex, we exhausted standard treatments, which I really appreciated—only moving to Regenex when those options didn’t fully work. He explained everything clearly and made me feel confident in the process. The rest of the staff was equally amazing—great communication and friendly interactions made every visit pleasant. I’d been dealing with consistent pain ranging from 2-6 for years, despite trying physical therapy, daily stretches, natural supplements, ice, and heat. I’m only 2 months removed from the Regenex procedure, and my pain has already improved by about 75%, now ranging between 0-2. It’s not completely gone, but there’s still room for improvement, and my daily stretching is making a significant difference compared to before. State of the art facility and dr. Dhaliwal knows what he’s doing. I had one cortisone shot to my lumbar area. They could see in the machine exactly where they were going in. Unfortunately It wore off in one week but today when I went for a follow up they were very kind enough to fit me in and give me another shot. They have a plan to manage my pain I’ve had the last five years. I wish someone had told me about them sooner. They pay attention and haven’t ignored me like other doctors have. I hope the second shot works. Even if doesn’t I know that they will help me somehow to manage my pain. The staff is great too. I’m very grateful to him and his team. Thank you!

Spine & Pain Associates has been a life-changing experience for my mother. I canot speak highly enough about all the staff and their outstanding work. She treated her as more than just a patient and proposed a detailed treatment plan that she has made appropriate changes to based on my mother’s feedback.
